Greetings,
My name Is Julie Alverez and I am the eldest of six children raised by a single mother. I faced many challenges at home looking after my brothers and sisters while my mother was away working. It was not going to be possible for me to continue my education for lack of funds. Not having enough money for education meant it was going to be very difficult for me to earn a living and help support my family. A Canadian couple assisted me with funding to complete my education and I have now graduated and found employment. I can now help my family and community which would have been impossible without the support that I received. I still attend the local church and serve in the children’s ministry.

She has one younger brother at King's College now and is about to complete freshman year and she will have a second younger brother start high school in September 2025. So, her family is doing well.
